The AOWC is held once each four years. Its purpose, described here, is to advance oat improvement and culture in North America and the World. Our theme this year is "Oat Action Together: a Strategy for Public/Private Cooperation". The conference will be held in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, a rich and diverse urban centre surrounded by rivers, lakes, woodland hills, and a fertile agricultural valley. You will be a short walk from Canada’s Parliament Buildings, museums, shops, and restaurants.
