Event Details

A two day program showcasing the latest research, technology, market development and innovations to improve the productivity and profitability of the WA grains industry. Dates and locations for one day regional events will be advised at a later date

The Grains Research Updates are a premier event in the WA grains industry calendar, with around 600 attending each year.

Registrations and a draft Program will be available in November or December 2023.

EOI’s to present now open

Researchers, agronomists and advisers across the country are urged to take part in the Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC) Grains Research Update in Perth, Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 February 2024.

Expressions of interest to prepare and present papers at the two-day Perth event and five one-day regional events that make up the Grains Research Updates series are now open.

Expressions of Interest for the 2024 event are requested by Monday 18 September 2023 and can be submitted via email to researchupdates@giwa.org.au

Attention: New Researchers!

A popular feature we wish to continue in 2024 is to dedicate part of the Perth Grains Update to a series of short (15-minute) slots to feature research being undertaken by “new researchers” or “early career researchers” (post docs, PhD students close to finishing, early career scientists).

New Researcher Expressions of Interest for the 2024 event are due by Monday 16 October 2023 and can be submitted via email to researchupdates@giwa.org.au
